Just thought i'd say well done to the newly formed Phoenix Daze after their win against Oxclose on friday after overtime and being 19 down at one stage. Mind you, oxclose are no strangers to be 19 points up and losing the game in OT, remember the Div2 cup final last season boys:P ?? haha...

We at Sassco.co.uk are looking to put our name to a basketball team.

Essentially, the basketball team would be independently run, but be called Sassco.co.uk.

In return, we'd feature the team on our website which gains from 13,000 to 20,000 visitors each week.

What we'd get is a basketball audience who would increase the visitor rate to the site.

What the team would get would be an instant website with massive publicity and the power to gain sponsors (who would be featured on the site).

Hi, I think that this would be a sensible idea. From what I've heard Phoenix seem keen to stay down a year and P&G have been competitive in all their games that I have seen. I think overall the quality of Division 1 has got higher compared to last year, which is a positive thing all round....

Can't see that being an issue as having won Div 2 having only just come up from Div 3, the Phoenix Knights think it is far too early to tackle Div 1 so will be asking to remain in Div 2

I guess we would be happy for you to take our spot. Give Paul Honour or Martin Edworthy a bell to confirm this is the case so it can be put before the league during the summer

Cheers...
